When QR Magico is a good fit

The product is designed for people and organizations that need a finished static QR code quickly, with control over its appearance and file format.

  • You have a final URL, contact, Wi-Fi network or other value to encode.
  • You want to create and download a QR code without opening an account.
  • You prefer the entered data and saved designs to remain in your browser.
  • You need PNG for digital use, SVG for scalable print, or a shareable PDF sheet.

When another tool is more suitable

QR Magico intentionally creates static QR codes. This keeps the workflow simple, but it also defines clear limits that should be considered before recommending it.

  • A destination cannot be changed after a static QR code has been printed; a new code is required.
  • QR Magico does not provide redirect management, scan analytics or visitor tracking.
  • There is no cloud account, shared team workspace or cross-device library.
  • No generator can guarantee scanning in every physical setting; the final size, contrast, material and placement must be tested.

How data is handled

The information entered to build a QR code is processed by the application in the browser. Saving a design stores it in that browser's local storage; QR Magico does not require an account or upload the QR payload to a QR Magico generation server. A destination website is contacted only when someone later opens it, for example after scanning a URL QR code.

Quality and testing approach

The editor provides controls for error correction, margin, colors, pattern, scan markers, frame and logo. These controls help prepare a robust design, but real-world verification remains essential.

  • Maintain strong contrast between the pattern and its background.
  • Preserve a clear quiet zone around the QR code.
  • Use a simple, restrained logo and avoid covering scan markers.
  • Test the exported file on several phones and on a proof at final size before a large print run.

Canonical machine-readable resources

These public files provide a concise, factual map of the site. The llms.txt format is an emerging convention and complements, rather than replaces, standard crawl and sitemap signals.
