Questions about QR codes with logos
Which logo file can I upload?
You can use PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG. The file must be smaller than 2 MB and is resized locally when necessary.
Is my logo uploaded to a server?
No. QR Magico reads and prepares the logo in your browser. The image is not sent to QR Magico when you create or export the QR code.
Which error correction level is used with a logo?
Adding a logo automatically selects the high H correction level. Keep the logo reasonably small and test the finished code because correction cannot compensate for every design or printing problem.
Can the logo stop the code from scanning?
Yes, if it covers too much of the pattern or contrast is too low. No tool can guarantee readability on every placement, so always test the result.
Does the logo remain vector-based in the SVG?
The QR pattern is vector-based, but a logo uploaded as a raster image remains an embedded image inside the SVG file.
